The unpretentious restaurant hosts an ever-changing crowd throughout the day and night, drawn by consistently wonderful desserts. Mike's is generally clogged with tourists trying to get their hands on cannoli, but some of the best pastries to be found at the busy bakery are not of Italian origin. The dense, chocolate-frosted eclairs are so filling it's nearly impossible to finish one in a single sitting. Also try the whoopie pies: light cream sandwiched between two chocolate cakes; the result is a chocolate lover's dream.
