The Oak bar menu features appetizers - including a generous shrimp cocktail plate with tangy, horseradishy cocktail sauce and an excellent hamburger - and wine, port, cognac, Scotch, and cigars, but most of its three pages are devoted to different incarnations of the martini. Try the 007: three parts Bombay Sapphire gin, one part Tanqueray Sterling vodka, and a splash of Lillet - shaken, not stirred. Or how about the ice blue martini: Absolut Citron with a splash of blue curacao. Even if you're not a real fan of martinis, the presentation makes ordering one worthwhile. A tray is brought to you that holds a chilled glass and a carafe with enough for two martinis resting in a glass bucket full of ice. How can you not feel worldly and elegant?
