Falmouth Shining Sea Trail

This alternate coastal route includes four miles of paved bikepaths from Falmouth to the Woods Hole Ferry Terminal. Parking is available in the center of Falmouth. For more information, contact the Falmouth Bikeway Committee at Falmouth Town Hall, (508) 548-7611. [ Map ]

Cape Cod Canal Bikepaths
Cape Cod Canal
This pair of bikepaths runs on both sides of the Cape Cod Canal which separates Cape Cod from the rest of Massachusetts. They are maintained by the Army Corps of Engineers and provide a great place from which to watch ships going through the canal and cars stuck in traffic on the bridges. [ Map ]

The Boston-to-Cape Cod bikeway
Through entire Cape
Starting on the Charles River, the "Claire Saltonstall Bikeway" leads all the way to Provincetown making use of marked bikepaths, backstreets, and backroads. The Eastern New England Council of Hosteling International provides maps. [ Order maps ]
