Atmosphere: The decor looks like a stylish diner circa 1947. The walls are covered in darkly stained wood, the restored tin ceiling is a soft green hue, and the chrome booths are covered in vinyl earth tones. The crowd is almost as stylish as the interior. It's a mix of locals, folks who've ventured down the street from the trendy Inman Square restaurants, and grad students looking for a slightly more grown-up place to sip mixed drinks. Even though the music stays in the background, the chatter on weekend nights can be deafening.
