  Pasta Party recipe: Framingham Fire Feast

  • 1/2 lb. rope-style Italian turkey sausage, skin removed and sliced
  • 1 medium zucchini, cut lengthwise and sliced
  • 1 medium summer squash, cut lengthwise and sliced
  • 1 large onion, cut into thin strips
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 2-2/3 cups (8 oz.) RONZONI Gemelli, uncooked
  • 1 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce
  • 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese Salt and ground black pepper to taste

    Heat oven to 350�F. In extra-large non-stick skillet over medium heat, cook sausage; add vegetables and garlic powder. Cook, stirring frequently, until vegetables are crisp tender. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions; drain. In 13 x 9-inch baking dish, stir together ricotta cheese and spaghetti sauce until well blended. Stir in mozzarella cheese, hot pasta and vegetable mixture; season to taste. Cover; bake 20 to 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. 9 servings (1 cup each).

    Each serving provides: 230 Calories, 15 g Protein, 27 g Carbohydrates, 7 g Total Fat (3 g Saturated Fat), 35 mg Cholesterol, 490 mg Sodium.
