Still Divided
Good Friday Once mortal enemies, Noel Large (left) and Tommy Gorman now work together to try to defuse the threat of violence in Belfast. Large, raised Protestant, was an assassin for a loyalist paramilitary group and was convicted of gunning down four republicans. Gorman, raised Catholic, was interned without trial for helping build a bomb for the IRA. The men, seen near a peace wall off Springfield Road, now express regret for their past militancy.
