Bob Morris
remembers
Dennis Smith
simply as a
good neighbor.
Although he
had no children
of his
own, Smith
would frequently
bring gifts over to Morris's
two children—a small gadget
here and there,M&Msand
other candy.
"Dennis was very kind to my
kids," Morris said.
Morris, who has lived next
door to the Smith family in Pawtucket
for 11 years, said he
thought his friend had gotten a
ticket for Thursday night's Great
White show only at the last minute.
"Kind of ironic," Morris said.
Smith worked odd jobs, Morris
said, and was always able to
offer a hand, whether it was
helping his father build cabinets
or assisting a neighbor in need.
