A letter from Cardinal Bernard Law to the Rev. Robert H. Morrissette, ending his assignment as associate pastor at Saint Joseph Parish in Salem. Morrissette's case was one of the first accusations of clerical sexual abuse Law confronted after becoming archbishop of Boston in March 1984.
