Who wants to be a Superstar? Official Rules 1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A total of one (1) Grand Prize will be awarded. The prize is a trip, consisting of roundtrip airfare from Boston Logan Airport and two nights lodging for two in Los Angeles, and a walk-on performance on "The Practice" with a value of up to $3,000, including taxes. Winner must work within restrictions set by David E. Kelley's office. If the winner cannot meet these conditions, an alternate winner will be chosen. Cash cannot be substituted in lieu of trip. No purchase necessary. 2. Sweepstakes begins February 16th, 2000 and ends March 24, 2000. Entries will only be accepted electronically. Limit one (1) entry per person for each day of the contest. Entries that are incomplete or late for any reason will not be accepted. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of valid entries received. Only one (1) prize will be awarded to any one winner. 3. You must be 18 years of age or older to enter. Employees of Boston.com, TCD, the Massachusetts Film Office, the Friends of the Massachusetts Film Office, WCVB-TV and all companies and organizations associated with the Ninth Annual Academy Awards Gala and their agents, affiliates, and subsidiaries and members of their families and immediate households are not eligible to participate in this sweepstakes. 4. Winners will be selected by random drawing at the end of business on March 24, 2000. The drawing will take place at Boston.com. Winner will be announced on WCVB's pre-Oscar broadcast on March 26, 2000. The winner will also be notified via phone or email on Monday, March 27, 2000. The prize winner must present proper proof of age, identity and Social Security number, and complete an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability, and receipt. If for any reason we are unable to contact the prizewinner, or the winner fails to appear or is ineligible, the winner's prize will be awarded in a random drawing to another eligible entrant. 5. Boston.com, its subsidiaries, affiliates and agents will be the sole judges of all matters relating to this sweepstakes. 6. Boston.com, TCD, the Massachusetts Film Office, the Friends of the Massachusetts Film Office WCVB-TV and its agents, affiliates, and subsidiaries may use the winner's name, address, and likeness without compensation in advertising or otherwise, and are released from any and all liability arising out of anyone's participation in this sweepstakes, and further including all matters relating to anyone's acceptance or use of any prize. 7. All taxes or incidental expenses are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Rights to prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted or redeemed for cash or other consideration. 8.
