Harry Browne was born on June 17, 1933, in New York City. He has lived most of his life in Los Angeles, Calif. He's lived abroad in Vancouver and Switzerland, but currently lives in Tennessee. He served in the US Army from 1953-1956, receiving an honorable discharge.

For 16 years he has been married to the former Pamela Lanier Wolfe, and has a grown daughter. Browne, a successful investment adviser for 30 years, has been a popular public speaker, has edited a monthly newsletter, and is the author of 11 books, which have sold more than 2 million copies, three of which were New York Times bestsellers.

Harry Browne will appear on 49 state ballots plus DC.
