For 16 years I had the honor of serving the people of Tennessee, first in the House, then in the Senate. For the past eight years I have served as vice president of the United States.
In my time in public office, I have fought for the people whether it has been taking on the big drug companies to provide cheaper drugs or taking on polluters to protect our environment. I intend to continue these fights as president. I will work to ensure that our prosperity benefits all of our families with investments in education, health care, and middle-class tax cuts.
My wife, Tipper, and I are blessed with four children: Karenna, Kristen, Sarah and Albert, and one grandchild.
