Lives Lost maps: Challenges and cures Childhood diseases
Three million young lives are saved each year through immunization programs that target the six major vaccine-preventable
childhood diseases � diphtheria, measles, polio, whooping cough, tetanus, and tuberculosis.
Immunization coverage is indicative of the quality of health care within a country.
This map shows average coverage rates for the three vaccines that immunize against
