Lisa Hilland, 26 (with cigarette), Michaela McCorry, 23 (blonde on couch), and Louise Brennan, 24, enjoyed drinks and tappas at The Apartment, one of the downtown Belfast bars popular with young people. With its large windows overlooking Donegall Square, a bar like this would have been considered a dangerous place a few years ago because of the threat of bomb blasts.
