How the League gathered the data
POLLS MAY OPEN as early as 5:45 a.m., but no later than 7 a.m., according to state election laws.
ALL POLLS CLOSE at 8 p.m.
VOTERS IN MASS. will cast ballots for president and vice president, US senator, US representative, governor's council, state senators and representative, clerk of courts, register of deeds, county commissioners, sheriffs, register of probate, and various regional boards and positions.
THERE ARE 8 STATEWIDE BALLOT QUESTIONS this year. In addition, there may be municipal and regional questions on the ballot throughout the state.
